IN MEMORIAL
On September 2, 2001, Our Lord took Father Robert Leahy home to Heaven. Father Leahy had become a good friend of Pax Christi as well as the entire parish of Saint Luke's. Perhaps God needed Father Leahy to deal with the arrivals of  souls that would arrive due to the World Trade Center/Pentagon attacks. Perhaps God needed Father Leahy to assist others from Heaven with a bird's eye view. Whatever the reason, we will miss his love, his caring, and his infectious smile. God Bless You Father Leahy.........We Miss You.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen

On September 22, 2012, Our Lord  took Father Louis Kralovich home to Eternity. He was the reason PAX CHRISTI had its start and he is dearly missed. Yet, he lives on in the spirit of every session of Pax Christi that exists.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Incorrupt Bodies

There is a phenomenon in the Catholic Church, that of incorrupt bodies of certain saints. The church classifies these as relics of the saints. They are unique because they defy the laws of nature. Some bodies are still completely incorrupt, some have begun the normal process of a deceased body while others were incorrupt for years but due to the normal processes (God permitting) they are now buried.
One might consider the incorrupt body of a saint as a SIGN OF HOLINESS. In fact, many miracles have occurred through the veneration of these relics.

Eucharistic Miracles

In the 8th century A.D., in the little church of St. Legonthian, a Basilican monk was having doubts about the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. During Mass, after the two-fold consecration, the Host was changed into live Flesh, and the Wine was changed into live Blood. The Host -Flesh can still be seen today. It is light brown, and appears rose - colored when lighted from the back. The Blood is coagulated, and has an earthy color resembling the yellow of ochre. Scientific investigations have been taken place since 1574. These are some of the conclusions:

* The Flesh is real Flesh.

* The Blood is real Blood.

*The Flesh consists of the muscular tissue of the heart.

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth of all that is seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us men and our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day he rose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
