web page, it's content is specifically designed and organized for
information on Roman Catholicism. The Church's rich history, opinions, dogmas
,and beliefs are echoed throughout the entire page. It is not the intention
of this page to be disrespectful to the faith of others.
There may be a lot of information here that is unfamiliar
to the reader, please take your time and explore many of the links that are
provided within this most unique page. The need for this page grew
from the vast amount of students who are in the process of continuing their
religious education at Church of the Visitation, Church of the Epiphany,

The Blessed Virgin Mary
![]()
![]()
Most people are VERY poorly educated on the topic of The Blessed Virgin Mary. Her role in the Salvation of mankind has been discussed since the dawn of Christianity. Since the Early Church was formed, Mary has been held in the highest regard over any other human being. It is essential that her role is understood, and why God still uses her as an instrument to bring people to Jesus. The Blessed Virgin is not merely a tool which God used, but her role is firmly based upon scripture and the earliest of Christian teachings.
The Rosary is a prayerful meditation that concentrates on the biblical accounts of Jesus & Mary's life. It is an easy way to remember important events in the Christian Formation.

There is a phenomenon in the Catholic Church, that of incorrupt bodies of certain saints. The church classifies these as relics of the saints. They are unique because they defy the laws of nature. Some bodies are still completely incorrupt, some have begun the normal process of a deceased body while others were incorrupt for years but due to the normal processes (God permitting) they are now buried.
One might consider the incorrupt body of a saint as a SIGN OF HOLINESS. In fact, many miracles have occurred through the veneration of these relics.

In the 8th century A.D., in the little church of St. Legonthian, a Basilican monk was having doubts about the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. During Mass, after the two-fold consecration, the Host was changed into live Flesh, and the Wine was changed into live Blood. The Host -Flesh can still be seen today. It is light brown, and appears rose - colored when lighted from the back. The Blood is coagulated, and has an earthy color resembling the yellow of ochre. Scientific investigations have been taken place since 1574. These are some of the conclusions:
* The Flesh is real Flesh.
* The Blood is real Blood.
*The Flesh consists of the muscular tissue of the heart.
