 "ULTIMATE FIELD TRIP":
FRANCE AND ENGLAND

 SUMMER OF 2001

We left for Paris out of JFK Airport in New York on American Airlines Flight 120 on July 31, 2001 at 9:50pm.

We were headed for a European Tour that would include: Paris, Loire Valley, Mont Saint Michel, Normandy Beach, Crossing the English Channel and London on a NINE day tour.

We had a stupendous time

There Is Truly Something To Be Said About European Charm.
Everywhere we went, we were reminded by gentle gestures

that the rest of the world lives a totally different lifestyle.

the train systems in London (Underground) and Paris (The Metro).

Breakfast Was Quite A Nice Experience In Our 4 STAR English Hotel.

Fresh Fruit, Scones, Eggs, Meats, Cheese, Muffins, and more were a NICE Wake-up

The Eiffel Tower, The Louvre Museum, The Palace of Versailles, Notre Dame Cathedral, Sacre Coeur, The Opera, The House of Parliment, Big Ben, The Normandy Beaches, The Chartes Cathedral, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, The Champs-Elysees, The Arc de Triumph, Saint Paul's Cathedral were just some of the few spots we visited on our trip!

As if that weren't enough.....
Piccadily Circus and Harrods of London Offered A Shopper's Dream!
Needless To Say......As A Group...
We BOUGHT a FEW things!

 

We left left London on American Airlines Flight 93 on August  9, 2001 at 1:00pm. 

Our Flight was delayed on the ground due to a large storm. We arrived at Newark at 5:00pm.
We stayed at the Hotel Merific in Paris, the Concorde in Le Mans,

The Ibis in the Loire Valley and Jury's Kensington in London.
Croissants, Eggs, Cereal, Fresh Juice, Ham, Cheese, Scones,

and other tasty treats awaited us at breakfast;

while duck, fish and chips, quiche, chocolate mousse, tortes  and other new favorites were waiting for dinner.
